I'm back from Bangkok! Went to shop for 4 days. I should have slimmed down because of the walking but NO! My weight didn't decrease a single bit. Slept at 2-plus for the past 4 nights. *Gosh* Wonder if I can wake up for school tomorrow.. Hmm..
I bought 3 shirts, 1 jeans and a few other things. I saw a belt that I liked but the shopowner was so irritating. At first, we agreed that 4 belts for 80Baht each. After we chosen and paid, it was still 100Baht each! I guessed because she knew that she is selling at the lowest price already. We were unhappy with her attitude so we decided to get back the money and not buy it anymore.
The first day when we reached there, the hotel manager told us that he gave our rooms to other people and we have to put up at another hotel and go back to that on the second day. We argued with him and insisted on not moving. After about 30 minutes, the senior manager[?] came out and we continued for about 15 minutes. He gave up and threw in a complementary dinner and our rooms were changed to the Executive Rooms with no extra charges. Haha. We decided to shift after they said that.. Since it was 8-plus when we settled down because of the traffic jam, we went for dinner, took MRT down to MBK for a short walk and went back. Stayed in the hotel to play cards until 2-plus.
Second day was a half-day city tour and shopping again. Went to Pratunam Center. This is the place with a bunch of irritating people. The shopowners there changed the price when we decided what to buy and wanted to pay. Then, went to the shopping centre right beside our hotel. I bought my Levi's jeans there. It was original and only cost S$27! It was more than 50% less.
Third day. Went to MBK again. This time we went to buy shirts and looked for my cousin's mp3 player cover. Cant find any and went back to hotel. Came out again for dinner and played cards again. Hehe..
Fourth day. It was such a letdown. My aunts quarrelled. And me and my cousin was pulled down into the quarrel. We were walking and I was coincidentally beside my cousin who was beside my fourth aunt. My third aunt then turned back and scolded us - saying that the 3 of us always stick together. What the Heck? My third aunt was always picking on my brother so I disliked her abit. But I wasn't rude to her at all. She said I was rude because she asked the boys who wanted to go back to the hotel, "Do you all know where to alight to go back hotel?". So me and my 4th aunt said, "Cannot
lah"
. She then replied, "I ask only. Not asking them to go back on thier own. So rude. Interrupt." I din even interrupt her. She finished her sentence then I asked one. Anyway, after my 3rd and 4th aunt quarrelled, we went separated ways. My 4th aunt and family said that they also knew her intention of asking the boys to go back on thier own. See. So obvious. Yet she said no.
Last day. Woke up early for breakfast and headed to the airport. Reached Singapore at 1645.
